We regret to advise that the Cromarty Ferry Company is unable to operate the Cromarty to Nigg ferry service this season.
We have recently been advised that the ferry berth in Cromarty harbour has been condemned and is now closed.
As there is no other suitable berth in the harbour, or in the rest of the firth, we very much regret that we are unable to continue operating.
Thank you all for your help and support over the years.
Welcome to Cromarty Ferry
The only ferry service from the Black Isle, travelling between Cromarty and Nigg. The service includes a 50 passenger and 4 car ferry and is one of the smallest car ferries in Britain. The ferry crosses the entrance to the Cromarty Firth, one of the finest natural harbours in Europe and also an area rich in wildlife and world-famous for its dolphin population.
Evening cruises with fully licensed bar also available within the Cromarty Firth. Booking required.
